Philippine Carabao mangoes recently began a journey from local farms to Vancouver, Canada, carrying with them not only the sweetness Filipinos know and love, but also the hard work of growers, exporters, and logistics teams helping bring Philippine products to the world.

Cargohaus proudly handled the one metric ton second commercial export shipment, owned by Mensch FilAm Corporation and arranged through Airspeed, as part of a broader initiative supported by the Department of Agriculture (DA) and the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI). The shipment departed for Canada via Air Canada on September 19, 2026.

For many, a box of mangoes arriving overseas may seem like a simple delivery. Behind it, however, is a collective effort to open new opportunities for Philippine agriculture and introduce more Filipino products to international markets.

At the Cargohaus facility, the team carefully managed every step of the export process. Because mangoes are highly perishable, they require careful handling and timely movement to ensure they arrive fresh and ready for consumers abroad. From cargo acceptance and inspection to pallet preparation and aircraft loading, the team worked to keep the shipment moving smoothly throughout its journey.

The successful export serves as a reminder of how logistics connects Filipino producers to opportunities beyond our shores. Every shipment represents farmers finding new markets, businesses reaching new customers, and Filipino products earning recognition on the global stage.

As one of the country’s leading cargo handlers, Cargohaus is proud to play a role in these journeys. While the mangoes may have taken center stage, their flight to Canada was also a testament to the many people working behind the scenes to help Philippine products travel farther and dream bigger.

From farm communities to international markets, this shipment is more than a delivery. It is another step forward in sharing the best of the Philippines with the world.
